Optional add-on · Financial Statements

Your books, written by your invoices

Every invoice, purchase and payment you record in alFatora is already posted to the books. The Financial Statements add-on opens them up: your chart of accounts, your banks, your entries and your financial reports — with no separate accounting system and nothing typed twice.

What Financial Statements gives you

Everything you need to know where the business stands, in the same place you issue your invoices.

A chart of accounts that fits your business

Answer a few short questions about what you do and get a chart of accounts to review and adjust before you adopt it — or import the one you already use from Excel.

Banks and cash

Add your bank accounts and cash boxes, record transfers between them, and see each balance on any day.

Bank statement matching

Import your bank statement, match every line to what is in your books, and see what has not been recorded yet.

Expenses and entries

Record expenses that come without a supplier invoice, manual entries and reclassifications, with permissions for who posts and who reviews.

Financial statements

Income statement, balance sheet, trial balance, general ledger and cash movement — compared with an earlier period and spread across the months.

From a figure to its documents

Click any figure in a report to see the entries and invoices behind it, with no searching and no guessing.

Start from where you are

Choose the date your books start and enter opening balances once, so the books begin from the business as it really stands.

Period close and exports

Close a period once it is reviewed so nothing you signed off can change, and export reports to PDF and Excel for your accountant or auditor.

How it starts

From your alFatora subscription page, in minutes.

  1. Turn it on

From the subscription page or the Financial Statements menu; it is added to your subscription order.

  2. Prepare the chart of accounts

From the short questions or from your existing chart, reviewed before you adopt it.

  3. Set the start

The date your books start and your opening balances, once.

  4. Follow your numbers

Add your banks and cash boxes and open your reports — every new invoice appears in them by itself.

What every tier keeps, without the add-on

The add-on opens the books; nothing your daily work depends on waits for it.

  • Payments against invoices and purchases, in full or in part
  • Customer and supplier balances and statements
  • Ageing
  • Purchase invoices and supplier notes
  • The VAT return

One price, with your subscription

Financial Statements is added to your alFatora subscription, whatever your tier.

  • 240 SAR including VAT, for the rest of your subscription term
  • Renews with your subscription at the same price
  • The add-on is not refunded once paid

Frequently asked questions

I have been invoicing in alFatora for months — are those in the books?

Yes. Everything you have issued and recorded in alFatora has been posted to the books from the start, so it appears in your reports as soon as you turn the add-on on, earlier months included.

Do I need accounting experience?

Not to start: invoices, purchases and payments post by themselves, and the reports are ready. Your accountant, if you have one, works with you in the platform with their own permissions, to review, post entries and close periods.

Does the add-on change my VAT return?

No. The VAT return stays as it is, and available in every tier, with or without the add-on.

What happens if I do not renew the add-on?

Your data is kept and you can still view your books and reports, without changing them. Renew and the add-on is back as it was.

I only use alFatora Connect — can I add it?

Financial Statements is an add-on to the alFatora subscription. If your business uses both products, it is added to the alFatora subscription.
