Issue your invoices yourself — clearance is on us

For businesses without an invoicing system, or with one that cannot produce compliant e-invoices: quotations, invoices, credit and debit notes, purchases, payments and the VAT return — in one application that knows the authority’s rules so you don’t have to.

From registration to the first cleared invoice

Set everything up before you pay, enter the OTP from the Fatoora portal, then issue.

  1. Create your account and add your company

Email verification, then the company details: VAT number, commercial registration, national address — checked against the official registries as you type.

  2. Prepare the catalogue, customers and suppliers

Enter them or import them from Excel, with opening balances. All of it before you subscribe.

  3. Prove the company with the OTP

The OTP from the Fatoora portal is the only proof we ask for. Up to 100 test documents in the simulation environment to try the real flow.

  4. Subscribe

One annual package with every feature; the price varies only by document count. Card or bank transfer.

  5. Issue

The production OTP, and the same checklist completes itself. From here every invoice is real and cleared.

Everything the business needs, in one place

Connected operations with one purpose: staying compliant, and keeping the business fully in view.

An invoice in seconds

Type the line freely; the system completes it from your document history and catalogue. Clone a previous invoice in one click, save any line to the catalogue in another.

Quotations before invoices

A quotation is a plain document that never reaches the authority; when the customer agrees it becomes the invoice — no credit note for a quote nobody accepted.

Credit and debit notes

A cleared invoice is never edited; “issue a note for this invoice” pre-fills it from the original with the reference the authority requires.

The AI purchases assistant

Scan the QR on a supplier’s invoice, forward it to your company’s own inbox, photograph it, or record a voice note — the system prepares a draft you review before it is saved.

Payments and balances

Record receipts and payments, partial or in full, and see outstanding balances, statements and ageing for every customer and supplier.

A checked VAT return, on time

Sales, purchases and payments straight into the return’s boxes, with the documents behind every figure and the workings exported for your accountant.

The printed invoice

A template where what is yours is customisable — logo, colours, type — and everything the authority mandates is locked. A PDF carrying the sealed XML inside it.

The mobile app — available soon

alFatora is a web application, and it runs today in the browser on a phone as readily as on a desktop, with nothing to install. A mobile app is on the way — when it arrives it carries the same account and the same data.

The system decides the invoice type — not you

The invoice type is a compliance rule, not a preference. So the application never shows a choice someone could get wrong:

  • Customer registered for VAT? A tax invoice — cleared in real time before it is shared.
  • Not registered? A simplified invoice — sealed instantly, then reported to the authority within the window.
  • An unregistered customer who wants a tax invoice in their name? One setting on the customer card, not on every invoice.

One annual subscription, every feature

The price varies only by the documents recorded per year — every document you exchange with your customers, from the quotation to the invoice and its notes, and your purchase invoices.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an accountant to use alFatora?

No. The application decides the invoice type, computes the tax and posts every document to the ledger automatically. Your accountant — if you have one — gets their own role, with statements, the VAT return and the workings ready.

Who decides whether an invoice is tax or simplified?

The system, from the customer’s details: registered for VAT means a tax invoice, cleared in real time; not registered means a simplified invoice, sealed instantly and then reported. You are never shown a choice someone could get wrong.

Can I start before my integration notice?

Yes. You issue Phase 1-compliant invoices — sequential, tamper-evident, with the QR — and when ZATCA notifies you we switch on the integration with the same sequence.

What happens when my subscription ends?

The company becomes read-only: no recording and no export until renewal, and renewal restores everything. Sealed documents stay stored in the Kingdom for the statutory retention period.

I have a system for some of my invoices — can I use both?

Yes. Your company is the same in alFatora and alFatora Connect: your system submits through Connect, the office issues in alFatora, and every tax invoice reaches the authority either way — with an independent sequence per channel.
